The Structure of the Program
The Program lasts for a full academic year, running from October 1 to September 30, and consists of two Semesters and a Summer Term. Throughout each Semester, students are expected to take three courses (30 ECTS), and during the Summer Term they will be preparing and submitting their MA thesis (15 ECTS).
Students must be successfully tested in:
• 3 Compulsory courses (total 30 ECTS)
and
• 3 Specialization courses of a discipline (total 30 ECTS),
or
• 2 Specialization courses of one discipline and 1 Elective Compulsory course of another discipline (total 30 ECTS),
and
• 3 Elective courses (total 30 ECTS),
• Master's Thesis (total 30 ECTS)
To obtain a diploma of the Program a total of seventy-five (120) credits (ECTS) are required.

For the attainment of the program’s objectives, the following will be carried out by the Collaborating Institutions:
1stSemester(1st Year of Studies, Winter Semester): All Basic Courses of the Winter semester of the 1st Year of studies are delivered at NKUA; courses are taught jointly by Faculty members of UCSB and NKUA. [1st sem. courses to be offered each academic year: 3]
2ndSemester(1st Year of Studies, Spring Semester): All Track Courses of the Spring semester of the 1st year of studies are delivered at NKUA; courses are taught jointly by Faculty members of UCSB and NKUA. 3dSemester(2nd Year of Studies, Winter Semester): Elective Courses are delivered at UCSB; the courses are taught jointly by Faculty members of UCSB and NKUA. [3d sem. courses to be offered each academic year: 3]
4thSemester(2nd Year of Studies, Spring Semester): Supervision of students for their Dissertation is offered at either UCSB or NKUA by Faculty members of either UCSB or NKUA.
